Our school council have continued to develop their community spirit by joining forces with Sacred Heart (local primary school) on keeping our beaches clean.
On a very warm Monday afternoon (2nd July), our schools became one and hit the beaches of Hastings Old Town. Many of the items collected were wooden forks (from fish and chips take aways) and plastic bottles. We were pleased to find our beaches weren’t too littered but unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for our streets.
Our council would like to thank Sacred Heart and Councillor James Bacon for their support in this event and we look forward to future joint projects.
