We have received an update from our partner school in Edest, Sierra Leone. Their school have closed down due to the Covid-19 pandemic and some children are accessing their learning via radio lessons. Here is a message from a teacher:
"Hello! We have had to adjust ourselves to the current situation in the world that has made schools close. The teaching service commission are doing ration teaching for children who have the facilities. Some teachers are doing home lessons for children who can not get the radio teaching. International Pupil Council members have constructed boxes from recycled materials for planting seeds and are doing some gardening work We are making ourselves useful during this time of global pandemic."
