The work of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is closely monitored by the Academy Trust and the Local Governing Body.
The Governor with responsibility for monitoring safeguarding in school is Mrs. Sandi Buttery. Mrs Buttery has much experience of safeguarding in her working life (see biography on Governors page) and uses that knowledge in support of our safeguarding practices and procedures.
If you have a concern about a child or member of our school community, you can speak to our DSL/DDSL. Alternatively, any member of the public can make a referral (or self referral) to the Single Point of Advice (SPOA) who can advise. Their number is 01323 464222.
